Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathy has the capacity to affect great change in your life in two ways: by uncovering the root cause of a health issue or complaint AND by finding a long term, natural and individualized solution.

My goal is to work collaboratively with you and develop an ongoing partnership that not only educates you on health solutions, but also empowers you to sustain them.

As a Naturopathic Doctor, I believe in helping people to help themselves.

As a mom of two young children, I know the importance of maintaining an active, conscious, and true-to-you lifestyle in order to keep up with the demands of everyday life. It’s no secret that life can get a little crazy. It’s not always easy. It’s constantly changing. And while there is no magic elixir for perfect health, there is always a way to find, and achieve, a unique personal balance.

I’m here to answer your questions so you don’t have to resort to endless Google searches. I’m here to provide REAL game plans that will actualize positive change. I’m here to help you overcome life’s hurdles, naturally and gracefully. I see myself as an active supporter in the optimization of your overall health.

My goal is to work collaboratively with you and develop an ongoing partnership that not only educates you on health solutions, but also empowers you to sustain them.

From my own experience, I can tell you that optimal wellness can be achieved when you blend the right information with the right inspiration.

My areas of interest are: Aging wellness, energy and fatigue, sleep issues, mood, weight loss/management, digestive issues, hormonal shifts and changes, brain fog and mild cognitive decline, concussion management, child and family health, nutritional testing, interpreting and implementing genetic testing, auto- immune conditions (particularly Hashimoto’s thyroid disease), and more.

I live in the Grey Highlands with my husband and two children. Although I’ve lived and travelled around the world, I love this incredible area and can’t imagine being anywhere else.

My family loves to get outdoors – During winter, you can spot me flying down the ski slopes or going on a snowshoeing adventure. In summer months, we often hike the mighty Bruce Trail or go for a paddle on Beaver River — followed by a local wine or cider treat.

Top Tip: never underestimate a quick walk outside! It always amazes me how fresh air and moving your body correlates with increased mood and energy.

Above all, I love to be with my family. When I became a mom, my world changed. I knew I had to become the best version of myself for me and my children. So I shifted gears, careers, and values to reflect my desire to be more authentic. Today, I’m proud to have a healthy work-life balance that I absolutely cherish.
